Fruit and Vegetable National Pricing Policies

Researchers evaluate effectiveness of food pricing changes for protecting cardiovascular health in the US.  They predicted that:

1. A national 10% subsidy on fruits and vegetables could prevent or delay 150,500 cardiovascular disease death.

2. A 30% subsidy on fruits and vegetables for people on food stamps  could prevent or delay 35,100 cardiovascular disease deaths.
