The science of nutrition is ever-evolving.  Small and larger changes in dietary advice occur due to new research data.

THEN: Avoid eating too much fat

NOW: The type of fat is more important than the amount. The most healthful fats include poly and mono unsaturated fats.  They are found in vegetable oils, nuts, seeds, and seafood.
